Using the private app

On Deck is a baseball recruiting beta for players ages 13 and older. A player under 18 needs a reviewed parent or legal guardian and that adult’s consent before using the private recruiting tools.

A login stores the account’s email and access records. The player record stores name, date of birth and graduation year. Optional information includes school, city and state, baseball stats, academics, coach contacts, events, recruiting preferences, videos and photos. Board, message drafts, dates you mark as sent and next steps are private recruiting records.

The athlete and authorized linked family accounts use separate logins. Authorized On Deck operators manage access and support requests. Hosting uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare; Supabase handles accounts, database and media; Resend sends login emails; Google Workspace receives support email.

Profile records remain while the profile is active. Email support@ondeckathlete.com to request access, corrections, an export or removal. We check who is asking before changing or removing data. Provider logs and backup copies may remain for their configured retention periods. This beta does not automatically complete export or account-deletion requests.

This choice permits private app use. A public recruiting site needs a separate guardian choice and review of its exact saved content. Withdrawing private-app consent pauses the minor’s tools and public site until administrator review. On Deck does not guarantee recruitment, offers, admission or playing time.

Publishing a player site

A public On Deck recruiting site shares the player’s name and only the profile fields and media selected for the saved draft. Selected information can include school, graduation year, hometown, baseball stats, academics, events, recruiting preferences and coach email contacts. Date of birth, login details and private recruiting messages are excluded.

Anyone can view a published page, including people who receive its link and search engines. Photos, videos and other published content may be copied or downloaded. Review the saved preview and all selected fields and media before approving.

Your approval applies only to the exact saved draft version shown here. Changes need a new review before the changed version is published. Saving private edits alone does not change the live page.

You can pause publication or withdraw public-site consent. This blocks new public app access after the change takes effect. Copies already downloaded or cached may remain. Public-site withdrawal does not remove the private player record. Contact support@ondeckathlete.com for help, corrections or removal requests. Those requests are reviewed rather than automatically completed.
